Shay, Stay and their best friend, Fay share everything including a personality. Sure they’re a little old to still be working reception at a tanning salon in a strip mall, but they don’t seem to notice. Maybe because all their friends are eighteen or they still look delicious in their Playboy T’s and booty shorts. At any rate, tanning is their passion and despite the medical controversy, the girls maintain shockingly deep, dark orange hues. PLANET SUN’ s inhabitants are fraught with many trails and hardships. These include text messaging mix-ups, killer hang-overs, showing up at the wrong club, breaking-up with boyfriends, dealing with ignorant customers, and not being able to get into clubs. All of these culminate in Shay’s music video fantasy sequence, ‘Take It! (In the Back Door)’. A desperate plea to regain the love of her ex-boyfriend Jonah, who ditched Shay when he realized he could still get ‘TB’ (Teen Booty).
